Amar
Singh Khalsa

Someone
asked me, "What is God?"
I said, The One who acts beyond you.
"What is maya?" That which acts in you.

Sat
Nam, everybody!
Amar
Singh means the Lion of the Immortal One. I am now seven years old. My
father and mother are Sat
Kartar Singh Khalsa and Sat
Bachan Kaur Khalsa of Albuquerque,
New Mexico. And I have a sweet baby sister, whose name is Sukhmani
Kaur, which means 'Pearl of Peace.' I love her very much. My mother's
parents are Guru
Bachan Singh Khalsa and Guru
Bachan Kaur Khalsa, also of Albuquerque. My father's parents are Hari
Singh Bird Khalsa and Hari
Kaur Bird Khalsa, both of whom now reside in Green
Valley, Arizona.
I have
three different heritages. They are Lebonese, Sikh, and Native American.
I came from India where my religion is and that is where all of the people
have a turban. I have a good friend in India that wears a turban. I wear
a turban because I am a Sikh. I never kill animals and I never have weapons.
I only do it with my dad and I only shoot pizza boxes.
